Applied cryptography

Applied Cryptography (original title: Applied Cryptography: Protocols, Algorithms and Source Code in C ) is a non-fiction book by the US computer scientist Bruce Schneier and is considered a standard work in cryptography . It was first published in 1994 by John Wiley & Sons , and in 2005 by Pearson Studium in German translation . The author grants a comprehensive theoretical and practical insight into information security .

The work was received in scientific literature and teaching practice at technical universities.
