Ectasia
In medical terms , ectasia is the expansion of a hollow organ or vessel. This expansion of the hollow body usually takes place in a variable manner, for example spindle-shaped or sack-shaped. Depending on the state of the filling, ectatic structures are of a firm elastic or easily squeezable consistency. Halsvenenektasien (widening of the external jugular vein , internal jugular vein or anterior jugular vein ) can emerge possibly by pressing, screaming and cough or together with the leg veins due to the so-called Valsalva pressing pressure attempt be made arbitrarily visible.
