César David Adolfo Ham Peña

from Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

César David Adolfo Ham Peña (born July 23, 1973 ) is a member of parliament in Honduras .

Ham was elected to the Parliament of Honduras for the second time in 2005 for the 2006-2010 legislative period. Ham was on the governing body of the Partido Unificación Democrática (PUD). At the end of January 2009, Ham was charged with bringing two vehicles to Honduras with a tax exemption for MPs. Ham was expelled from the PUD on March 9, 2009 . Ham advocated the establishment of a fourth ballot box in which the election on November 29, 2009 in Honduras should vote on whether the parliament elected on that day should be a constituent assembly.

After the coup on June 28, 2009 , Notimex mistakenly passed on reports of Ham's murder upon capture. Some PUD MPs were encircled and pushed aside by de facto government troops as they tried to enter the parliament building. An occupation of the legislature by the executive branch, which according to the constitution of Honduras represents treason, could not be proven. He lives in Residencial Santa Fé .
