Anglesey Abbey is a mansion on the site of a previous abbey in the village of Lode , nine kilometers northeast of Cambridge , England . The previous owner, Urban Huttleston Broughton, 1st Baron Fairhaven , has renovated the house and adorned the interior with a valuable collection of furniture, pictures and art objects. The house and the property now belong to the National Trust and are largely open to the public.

The 400,000 m 2 park-like property is divided into several walking paths and gardens with classic statues, topiary hedges and flower beds. The park was laid out in the 1930s in the style of the 18th century by the last private landowner, 1st Baron Fairhaven. A large lake is believed to be an old coprolite pit. The Lode watermill was restored in 1982 and today sells flour to visitors.
