Anielap (also: Aniyarappu Island , Aniyarappu-tō , Anjelab ) is a motu of the Rongelap Atoll of the Pacific republic of the Marshall Islands .

geography

Anielap is located at the northeast end of the atoll along with six other small, nameless motu. It is only separated from the neighboring Kabelle in the south by a narrow canal. The island is uninhabited and has been contaminated with nuclear power since the Bravo bomb was tested for nuclear weapons .
