Racing career
Aniline is one of the few Soviet racehorses that started internationally. As a three year old, he ran the Washington, DC International Stakes and finished third. At the age of four he won the European Prize , which he won in the two following years. He also took part in the Prix de l'Arc de Triomphe , where he finished fifth. As a five year old he went back to Washington and finished second. In addition to his victories in the European Prize, he was successful in many Soviet races, such as the Russian Derby and the Socialist Countries Cup . He received the Triple Crown from Russia.
