Anja Renfordt

Anja Renfordt (* 1980 in Meinerzhagen ) is a German kickboxer .

Renfordt was six times world champion in kickboxing, in 2003 in light contact and in full contact over 70 kg, in 2004 in full contact in the 66 kg class, in 2005 in full contact in the 66 kg class and in light contact. In addition, in 2002 she was European champion in kickboxing in the full contact discipline in the 70 kg class. After a break of several years, she returned to the sport in 2011 and won the final of the WAKO World Championship in Dublin against the Russian Anna Gladkikh in December 2011 , thus achieving her sixth world title.

Renfordt is a type 1 diabetic and now works as a physiotherapist, personal trainer and martial arts teacher.
