Anja Schiemann (born August 22, 1966 in Bremen ) is a German administrative specialist and politician ( SPD ). She was elected a member of the Bremen Citizenship in May 2019 .

biography

education and profession

Schiemann graduated from secondary school in 1983 and attended the Bremen Commercial School until 1985. From 1985 to 1988 she completed her training as an administrative specialist in the public service in Bremen. She worked at the Social Court and the Senator for Justice and Constitution, since 1995 in the Senator's and State Council's Office.

As a single mother, she has a daughter.

politics

Schiemann has been a member of the SPD in the SPD local association Bremen-Woltmershausen since 2005 and was active there in various functions, currently (2019) as chairwoman. Since 2011 she has been a member of the advisory board of the Woltmershausen district . Since 2014 she has been a member of the Deputation for Environment, Building, Transport, Urban Development, Energy and Agriculture of the Bremen Citizenship . In 2018, the SPD's mandate commission placed it in 18th place on the SPD's list for the 2019 general election.
