Start-up curve

The start-up curve in describing automotive industry in Anlaufmanagement the plan curve over time and production volume.

The aim is to achieve the steepest possible start-up curve in order to serve the market quickly.

The point at which production starts is called SOP ( Start of Production ). The start-up curve ends in the comb line with the maximum planned production quantity per time unit (output, output).

The opposite of the start-up curve is the phase-out curve in phase-out management .
