Anna Göldi Human Rights Prize
The Anna Göldi Prize (previously also known as the Anna Göldi Human Rights Prize ) is awarded by the Anna Göldi Foundation every two years on Anna Göldi Memorial Day . The award is given to personalities who stand up for human rights and against arbitrariness.
Purpose of the award ceremony
On the one hand, people are to be honored who have made a special contribution to the protection of human rights and against arbitrariness, on the other hand, a broad audience should be addressed to deal with the topic.
Award winners
- 2009: The Swiss lawyer Luzius Wildhaber is characterized by his commitment to the enforcement of human rights.
- 2011: Islamic scholar Amira Hafner-Al Jabaji advocates a constructive dialogue between Muslims and Christians.
- 2015: Ursula Biondi (human rights activist, as a young woman administratively supplied ) and Arthur Honegger (journalist, former Verdingkind )
- 2018: Mariella Mehr (writer, victim of the Kinder der Landstrasse aid organization )
