Anna Brzezińska (* 1971 in Opole ) is a Polish writer in the fantasy genre .

Life

Brzezińska studied history at the Catholic University of Lublin and at the Central European University in Budapest . As a writer, she made her debut in 1998 with the novella A kochał ją, że strach, which was published in the magazine Magia i Miecz . For this novella she was awarded the Janusz A. Zajdel Prize . She received the same award for the novel Wody głębokie jak niebo and for the novel Żmijowa harfa .

Brzezińska lives in Warsaw and is co-owner of the Agencja Wydawnicza RUNA publishing house, founded in 2002 .
