Anna Maria Schwemer

Anna Maria Schwemer (born August 29, 1942 in Pforzheim ) is a German Protestant theologian .

Life

She studied theology from 1963 to 1967 and from 1978 to 1981 in Heidelberg and Tübingen . From 1981 to 1985 she was a research assistant at the Institute for Ancient Judaism and Hellenistic Religious History at the University of Tübingen . From 1985 to 1993 she was a research assistant of Martin Hengel . After completing his doctorate in theology in 1994 at the Eberhard-Karls-Universität Tübingen, the habilitation for the subject "New Testament" at Ev.-theol. Faculty of the University of Erlangen-Nuremberg and Umhabilitation 2000 and granting the right to teach in the subject New Testament at the Evangelical theology. Faculty of the University of Tübingen is an extraordinary professor there . Since 1993 she has been the managing director of the »Philipp Melanchthon Foundation. Theological-Philological College «and since then has been teaching within the Ev.-theol. Faculty of the University of Tübingen.
