Anna Maria Zielińska-Głębocka (born September 29, 1949 in Bydgoszcz ) is a Polish economist and politician .

Career

Zielińska-Głębocka studied economics at the University of Gdansk until 1972 , and graduated from the university in 1976 with a doctorate . She then stayed as a researcher at the university, where she was appointed full professor in 1998 .

In the parliamentary elections in Poland in 2005 , Zielińska-Głębocka was elected as a member of the Sejm for the Platforma Obywatelska . In the early elections in 2007 , she kept her seat in the Polish parliament. On February 9, 2010, the Sejm appointed her a member of the Monetary Policy Council, after which she resigned from her parliamentary mandate. In 2016 she left the committee.

Zielińska-Głębocka is the widow of the Polish politician Robert Głębocki , who was a Minister in the interim government of Jan Bielecki in 1991 .
