Annabel Lee (musician)

Annabel Lee is an American musician, writer, translator, and publisher. She worked, among other things, on projects of her husband Michael Moynihan and is an integral part of his band Blood Axis .

biography

Annabel Lee learned to play the violin at the age of seven. In the 1990s she worked on several films by experimental director Richard Kern and was also featured in his photo book New York Girls . She also starred in the films Red Spirit Lake and We Await by director Charles Pinion , for the former she wrote the script.

She was musically active with the group Amber Asylum . In 1996 she joined Blood Axis and supports her partner Moynihan, with whom she has a son. Her musical solo project is the neoclassical group Alraune. She is also active in the German-American Neofolk group Waldteufel .

Annabel Lee works as a translator and publisher for Dominion Press . She translated some works by Julius Evola and Hans Bellmer into English.

Ideological classification

Annabel Lee is an admirer of the fascist Italian cultural pessimist Julius Evola and an advocate of the Germanic faith . She is also a supporter of the Ásatrú movement and is active there in the Tribe of the Wulfings .
