The Anna Church was built in 1518 on the site of a scrap wood chapel from 1444. From 1668 to 1670 the church was expanded to include its characteristic star-shaped baroque extension. This central building with six sides is followed by five chapels and a connecting passage to the old church with a nave. Each of the chapels has its own altar. The extension was built by Martin Sempek from Gleiwitz . According to the inscription, the sacristy was added in 1707.

In 1994 some of the equipment was stolen. In 2010 the church was given protective devices to protect it from a fire with the help of water.
