Anne Delvaux

Anne Delvaux (born October 20, 1970 in Liège ) is a Belgian presenter and politician ( cdH ).

Delvaux attended the Université catholique de Louvain (UCL for short), where she studied economics and communication sciences. From 1994 to 2007 she was a journalist and news anchor for RTBF , the public broadcaster in French-speaking Belgium. At the same time, she was a lecturer in journalism at UCL.

In 2007 Delvaux left the RTBF to become politically active: From 2007 to 2009 she sat in the Belgian Senate , since 2009 she has been a member of the European Parliament . In 2007 she also became Chair of the Federal Advisory Committee on European Questions (until 2009) and Vice-Chair of the European Movement in Belgium. Since 2009 Delvaux has been a member of the following committees and delegations: Committee on the Environment, Public Health and Food Safety , Delegation for relations with the Pan-African Parliament , Delegation to the ACP-EU Joint Parliamentary Assembly . She serves as deputy: Committee on Foreign Affairs , Committee on Women's Rights and Gender Equality , Delegation for relations with South Africa .
