Goodbye sweethearts! , also known under the name Annemarie-Polka , is a work by the German marching song composer Herms Niel . Liebchen adé was composed and rewritten by Niel in 1934, the text corresponds to that of a traditional folk song of the same name, which August Heinrich Hoffmann von Fallersleben interpreted as Winter, ade! Divorce hurts was known. Niel completed the text with the exclamation of the name "Annemarie". Especially in the Sorbian areas of Lusatia and the Spreewald , Liebchen adé has a certain popularity under the name Annemarie-Polka and is often danced at village festivals.
