Annette Bartholdy

Annette Bartholdy (* in Bern , Switzerland ) is a Swiss violist and director of the “Four Seasons” concert series in Meilen .

life and work

Annette Bartholdy has worked with Vladimir Ashkenazy and András Schiff and has performed as a soloist with ensembles such as the European Camerata. She has been invited to festivals in Bath and Prussia Cove (England), Davos and Lucerne (Switzerland), Versailles and La Prée (France), Warsaw (Poland), Elverum (Norway) and Perth (Australia) and is at Wigmore Hall London , performed at the Concertgebow Amsterdam, the Alte Oper Frankfurt and the Cologne Philharmonic. She tours to Japan, the USA, South America and South Africa. Since 2005 she has been the artistic director of the “Four Seasons” concert series she founded in Meilen on Lake Zurich (Switzerland), where she lives with her family.
