Annette Gerritsen
Annette Gerritsen (born October 11, 1985 in Ilpendam ) is a Dutch speed skater . She specializes in short trips.
The two-time world and simple team European champion (2004 and 2005) Annette Gerritsen made her debut in January 2005 at the World Cup in Calgary . She has run several times since her World Cup debut in the top ranks over 500 and 1000 meters. In December 2004 she ran with the team, in January 2005 over 1000 meters junior world records. At the Sprint World Championships 2008 in Heerenveen, she finished third behind Jenny Wolf and Anni Friesinger . In the same year she was third at the individual distance world championships in Nagano over 2 × 500 m and over 1000 m.
At the Sprint World Championship 2011 she reached second place in Heerenveen .
