Annie Challan

Annie Challan (born November 5, 1940 in Toulouse ) is a French harpist .

The daughter of the composer René Challan studied harp with Lily Laskine and won first prize on this instrument at the Paris Conservatory in 1955. She became a harpist in the orchestra of the Opéra de Paris and performed as a harp duo with Suzanne Cotelle .

In 1971 Annie Challan became professor at the Versailles Conservatory and in 1976 director of the Marly-le-Roi Municipal Conservatory .
