In the attack in Charleroi on August 6, 2016 , a man with a machete attacked two policewomen near the police station in the Belgian city ​​of Charleroi .

The man attacked the policewomen in the street with a machete , seriously injuring one of the face and slightly injuring the other. Another policeman shot the man down. The attacker was injured in hospital and died there from his gunshot wounds.
