Anselmo Fox

Anselmo Fox (born April 23, 1964 in Mendrisio ) is a Swiss artist. He deals with sculpture, installation, digital media, drawing, as well as with aesthetic theory.

Life

Fox studied Art & Design at the Lucerne University of Applied Sciences and Arts and at the Basel School of Design and Art from 1985 to 1990 . From 1992 to 1994 he studied at the Lucerne Jazz School and in 1994 culture and art and science at the Humboldt University in Berlin .

In 1990 he won the Aargau canton award , and then in 1991 the Landis & Gyr Society (Switzerland) award in connection with a stay in Cairo.

In 2008 and 2009 he did a lectureship at the Humboldt University in Berlin.

Anselmo Fox lives and works in Berlin. He has been exhibiting in Germany and Switzerland since 1991.
