Antonio Maldonado

António Maldonado was a Portuguese astrologer and mathematician in the time of King John III. († 1557).

He wrote Do movimento, e natureza dos Corpos celestes . The manuscript was in the Biblioteca Real at the beginning of the 18th century . After the Lisbon earthquake in 1755 , which destroyed the library, he was listed as the author of Do nascimento dos corpos celestes .
