Stephan Hennen (born January 9, 1990 in Duisburg ) is a German football player .

Career

After Stephan Hennen had played in various youth teams for Viktoria Buchholz and VfL Duisburg-Süd , he moved to the youth department of MSV Duisburg in 1999 . He went through other youth teams there and made the leap into the second team of the club in the 2009/10 season, with which he initially played in the NRW League . In the 2011/12 season he was appointed to the professional squad of MSV Duisburg in the 2nd Bundesliga , for which he did not play a league game. It was not until the 2012/13 season that he played his first league game in the second-highest German division on August 23, 2012 in a 3-1 defeat against Dynamo Dresden . In the further course of the 2012/13 season he was mainly used in the 2nd team in the Regionalliga West . After MSV's forced relegation to the 3rd division , he left the club and played for the upper division TuS Bösinghoven in the 2013/14 season . After that, he temporarily withdrew from football.

In addition to his sporting career, Stephan Hennen studied sport management . On December 1, 2014, he took a position at the women's Bundesliga club SGS Essen , where he is responsible for marketing. In March 2015, he also returned as an active player by joining the sixth class FSV Duisburg . In September of the same year he left the club again.
