Antanas Marcijonas
Antanas Marcijonas (born November 30, 1938 in Viliai , Rokiškis district ) is a Lithuanian environmental lawyer and professor at Vilnius University (VU).
Training, teaching
After graduation in 1958 at the Panemunėlis -Mittelschule Rokiškis Antanas Marcijonas completed the diploma study of 1,963 law at the Law Faculty of the VU and received his doctorate in 1972 at the Moscow University on " Legal of wild animals in Lithuania".
Antanas Marcijonas was assistant (1963–1965), senior lecturer (1965–1974), lecturer (1976–2002), head of the chair (1983), holder of the chair for constitutional law (1983–2003), owner and professor (since 2003) of the chair for constitutional law of the law faculty of the VU. From 1990 to 2001 he was Senior Legal Advisor to the Legal Department of the Lithuanian Parliament ( Seimas ).
His courses and research areas include environmental law, liability for environmental crimes, and tax law . In 1996 Antanas Marcijonas was a visiting researcher at the University of Turin .
Antanas Marcijonas was co-editor of the legal journals ("Žemės teisė", "Agrarinė teisė", "Valstybinė teisė"). He is a member of the editorial board of “ Teisė ” magazine , author of more than 30 articles. He participated in the preparation of more than 30 environmental legislation.
