Antanas Trumpa

Antanas Trumpa (born July 2, 1942 in Rokiškis ) is a Lithuanian entrepreneur, industrialist, main shareholder of the Lithuanian group " Rokiškio sūris ".

education

After graduating from high school, Antanas Trumpa studied engineering and mechanics at the Kaunas Polytechnic Institute (1966). He then worked as an aspirant and research assistant.

In 1979 Trumpa received his doctorate in technical sciences.

Career

Antanas Trumpa started working for the then state-owned company Rokiškio sūrių gamykla (Rokiškis Cheese Factory ) and has been director of the company since 1971. In 1992, Antanas Trumpa privatized the state-owned company and is still active in management today.

In 2000, Antanas Trumpa was awarded the medal ( Lietuvos Didžiojo kunigaikščio Gedimino I laipsnio medalis ) by the President of Lithuania .

In 2006, Antanas Trumpa was the eleventh richest Lithuanian, according to Veidas magazine .
