Anti-Pasti are a British punk band formed in 1979 by singer Martin Roper and guitarist Dugi Bell . The original line-up also included Kev Nixon ( drums ), Will Hoon ( electric bass ); later Olly Hoon joined the band as the second guitarist. The band was recognized by the success of the Oi! -Welle carried along, the first LP ( The Last Call ) was in the British charts for 7 weeks, with the highest ranking 31.
Anti-Pasti broke up in 1982 when the singer left the band. The other members formed the band The Aces , but could not follow the success of Anti-Pasti with their only single One Way Street / Why Should It Be Mine (Etc ETC-01). The project was dissolved in mid-1984, but has reappeared since 2012.
