Antje Langer

Antje Langer (* 1973 in Halle ) is a German educationalist specializing in gender research and sex education . Langer's methodological work focuses in particular on discourse analysis and ethnography .

Life

From 1994 to 2001 Langer studied education and social sciences at the Johann Wolfgang Goethe University in Frankfurt am Main . Since 2002 she has held several teaching positions at the Justus Liebig University in Giessen and the University of Education at the Northwestern Switzerland University of Applied Sciences . In 2007 she did her PhD on discipline and relaxation. Ethnography based on discourse analysis on the use of the body in schools . In 2015 she followed the call of the University of Paderborn to the Institute for Educational Science as a junior professor for Educational Science : Education, Gender, Society. In October 2017 she was appointed professor for school education with a focus on gender research.
