Antoinette Eckert

Antoinette Eckert (born March 13, 1956 in Basel ) is a Swiss politician ( FDP ).

biography

After finishing school Eckert trained as a telegraph operator in Bern and Biel / Bienne . She then completed a commercial apprenticeship alongside her job and worked as a telecommunications secretary at the PTT district telephone directorate in Zurich . Because of her husband's professional activity, she lived in Caracas from 1983 to 1887 , then in Barcelona until 1992 . At the end of 1992 she returned to Switzerland with her family and has lived in Wettingen ever since .

Eckert has been a member of the Grand Council of the Canton of Aargau since 2009 . In addition, she was a local councilor in Wettingen from 2000 to 2017 and from January 1, 2014 to December 31, 2017, she was also Vice-Minister, succeeding Heiner Studer . She is a member of the Board of Trustees of the Kurtheater Baden-Wettingen, the Kulturwegstiftung Baden-Wettingen-Neuenhof and President of the Eduard Spörri Foundation Wettingen.
