Anton Buchberger
Anton Buchberger (born March 8, 1966 in Munich ) is a German skeleton driver .
Anton Buchberger started for the BSC Munich . He was internationally active between 1990 and 2001. In 1990 he started at the Skeleton World Championships for the first time . In Königssee he was twentieth. He achieved his best World Cup result two years later in the same place as seventh. He reached his best World Cup placement in 1993 when he was eleventh. In 1994 he won the Bayerncup. Also in Königssee in 2001 he won his only international race with a European Cup. He achieved his best placement at German championships in 1995 when he was runner- up behind Willi Schneider . In 1992 and 1998 he reached third places.
