Anton Jrschick

Anton Jrschick (born May 29, 1846 in Vienna , † May 30, 1909 in Graz ), the last name is also written Irschick , was an Austrian carpenter and councilor of the Chamber of Commerce.

In 1896 he built the oak paneling for the Edegger-Tax court bakery in Graz. He also set up the reading room of the Graz University Library.

Due to his merits and the high quality of his products, he was appointed supplier to the imperial and royal court .

In 1903 he made the interior of the Urbanc house in Laibach.

The head office was in Lagergasse 87-97 in Graz. His grave monument in Gries was designed by himself and shows his orphaned workshop in a detailed form based on a stage design. It is a listed building. He was buried with his wife Marie.
