Anton Pauschenwein (born January 24, 1981 in Eisenstadt ) is an Austrian football player .
Career
Anton Pauschenwein entered professional football relatively late and began his career at SC Wiesen . In 2000 he then moved to SV Mattersburg . After advancing with the Mattersburg team in 2003, he made his first Bundesliga appearances. Pauschenwein's first appearance in the Bundesliga was on July 26, 2003 against Sturm Graz . He came on for Bernd Kaintz in the 69th minute. Mattersburg won 3-1. One of his greatest successes was reaching the 2006 Austrian Cup final.
