Antonio Casadei
Antonio Casadei (* 1923 in Forlì , Italy ) is an Italian artist. Today he lives in Spain on the Costa Blanca .
life and career
Casadei is the son of the Italian painter Maceo Casadei. He began studying ceramics in 1948 and was a professor at the Bellas Artes Academy in Florence . There he was also given exhibition rooms.
His first presentation was in Hong Kong in 1962 , where he was allowed to design the Mandarin Hotel inside and out. In front of the hotel is his "Pegasus", a stainless steel sculpture over six meters high. In 1968 Casadei was honored by the Italian government in recognition of its works of art and public spaces.
