Antonio Paolucci
Antonio Paolucci (born September 29, 1939 in Rimini ) is an Italian art historian .
Life
Paolucci studied art history with Roberto Longhi . His professional career began in various cultural authorities, in the Ministry of Cultural Assets and Activities and as superintendent for the cultural assets of Venice , Verona , Mantua and finally Florence . From January 1995 to May 1996 he was the Italian Minister of Culture in the Dini cabinet . From 2007 to 2016 he was Director General of the Vatican Museums .
