Antonio de la Torre Villalpando (born September 21, 1951 in Lagos de Moreno , Jalisco ) is a retired Mexican soccer player whose regular position was in midfield .

Life

De la Torre received his first professional contract in the 1971/72 season with Club Universidad Nacional , where he was under contract for three years. In 1974 he moved to city ​​rivals America , with whom he won the Mexican championship in the 1975/76 season . After eight years at Club America, he moved to Puebla FC in 1982 , with whom he won another league title in 1982/83 . National team
