Anttola [ ˈɑntːɔlɑ ] is a village and a former municipality in the Savo region of Finland . Anttola is located 22 kilometers southeast of the center of Mikkeli . The municipality of Anttola was incorporated into Mikkeli in early 2001 together with the rural municipality of Mikkeli .

The municipality of Anttola had an area of ​​363 km², almost a third of which was covered by inland waters. The population was almost 1900 at last. In addition to the church village Anttola, the municipality also included the villages Hauhala, Huttula , Ikola, Kähkölä, Kääriälä, Maljala, Montola, Nurhola, Piskola, Pitkälahti, Pulkkila, Ruokola, Siiskola and Ylivesi.

The Olympic silver medalist in cross-country skiing Eero Kolehmainen came from Anttola.
