Anundsjö

Anundsjö is a former municipality in Västernorrland County in Sweden. The municipality, founded in 1863, existed until the end of 1970. The main town of the municipality was Bredbyn . The municipality is now part of the municipality of Örnsköldsvik . In the years 1952–1970 the municipality had become a large municipality ( storkommun ) and also took over the administration for the former municipality Skorped .

The parish in Bredbyn, the local sports club and the train station on the Stambanan genom övre Norrland still bear the name Anundsjö today.
