Anxi (Quanzhou)

Anxi ( Chinese  安溪 县 , Pinyin Ānxī Xiàn ) is a district in the prefecture -level city of Quanzhou in the southeastern Chinese province of Fujian . Anxi has an area of ​​2983.1 km² and approx. 1,063,720 inhabitants (end of 2003).

Its attractions include the listed Confucian Temple of Anxi (Anxi wenmiao 安溪 文庙) from 1001.
