The Apache-Sitgreaves National Forests are two national forests in the United States. These are two total 1175 km² large forest areas that extend along the Mogollon Rim and the White Mountains in eastern Arizona into New Mexico . It is managed by the Forest Service of the US Department of Agriculture in Springerville . The highest point in the park is Mount Baldy (3500 m). To the east of the park on the border with New Mexico is the Gila National Forest . The Mexican wolf was resettled in the area.
