Fol. 110v and 111r before and after the restoration

The Apostolus Christinopolitanus is a manuscript in Church Slavonic in Cyrillic script from the mid-12th century from northwestern Kievan Rus . It contains the text of the Acts of the Apostles , the Catholic and Pauline letters of the New Testament (with gaps), the Euthalian apparatus and extensive commentaries. On 299 preserved parchment pages , the text is surrounded by notes in the margin in the middle. This form corresponds to Byzantine manuscripts, but is unusual in other Old Russian texts.

The text also follows Greek models and differs in part from other Old Church Slavonic versions. Nevertheless, it is an important testimony to early Slavic text transmission.

The place of origin is unknown. The manuscript was found in Krystynopol (today Tscherwonohrad ) in the 19th century . 291 sheets are now in the History Museum in Lviv ( call number MS 37), 8 sheets in the Ukrainian National Library in Kiev (MS VIII.3).
