Application Systems Heidelberg ( ASH ) is a German distributor of software and games mainly for the Apple Macintosh . Volker Ritzhaupt is the managing director .

The company was founded in 1985, and during the Atari ST era , ASH started out with products such as Signum! , the STAD graphics program , the Phoenix database system and the MagiC operating system . The latter was ported to Windows ( MagiCPC ) and Mac OS ( MagiCMac ), so that ASH was able to serve the market of switchers at the time of Atari's departure.

Nowadays ASH hardly develops its own software anymore, but concentrates on the distribution of PC and Macintosh products for the German-speaking area. ASH also often localizes the software.

The sister company Application Systems Paris has existed since 2005 and Application Systems London since 2010, with which ASH organizes Europe-wide sales.
