Arad-Temesvári Vasúttársaság
The Arad-Temesvári Vasúttársaság (ATV; German: Arad-Temesvárer Eisenbahngesellschaft ) was a railway company in Hungary . The only route of the company was in the Banat and led from Arad to Temesvár (today: Timișoara). In 1891 the company was nationalized.
history
ATV was founded in Budapest in 1868. On December 3, 1868, she received the concession for the line from Arad to Temesvár , which was opened in 1871. The company ran the Tisza vidéki vasút (Theiss Railway) on behalf of the company.
The company was nationalized in 1891. The company's line was integrated into the network of the Hungarian State Railways (MAV).
