The workers Synagogue ( Spanish Sinagoga obrera , Yiddish Arbeter shul , Hebrew Baal Meloje Shul ) is one of three synagogues in Moisés Ville , a municipality in the province of Santa Fe in Argentina . Their simple style corresponds to the synagogues of small Eastern European towns before the Second World War .

The founding of the synagogue goes back to workers and craftsmen (carpenters, blacksmiths, bricklayers, tailors and saddlers) who joined together in 1916 to form the Jevráh Linat Hatzedek brotherhood , to build it in their free time under the direction of David Schapschuk, but without a plan Architects to build.

In 1924, the procurement of financial resources and building materials began. The main room and the clay facade with the entrance portal were completed between 1926 and 1928, and in 1932 work began on expanding the upper floor. The interior decoration was completed between 1936 and 1940.

Although the synagogue is no longer used for church services , its furnishings are almost completely preserved. The wooden and wrought iron bimah is remarkable.
