Employer insurance of the Knappschaft-Bahn-See

from Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

The employer insurance of the Deutsche Rentenversicherung Knappschaft-Bahn-See is the central contribution fund for all employers who employ employees insured by the Knappschaft and for all marginally employed persons ( mini- jobbers) who are registered with the mini-job center . It is open nationwide. The employer's insurance is based in Bochum .

The employers' insurance partially reimburses employers for the costs of continued wages in the event of illness (allocation U1) and fully reimburses the maternity allowance and wages paid in the event of a ban on employment (allocation U2). It also informs and advises employers.

How the reimbursement costs are financially distributed among the employers as a whole (pay-as-you-go system) and what requirements apply, has been regulated by the Expenditure Compensation Act since 2006 . The U1 and U2 levies are paid together with the total social security contributions to the collection point of the Knappschaft or mini-job center.

history

The employer insurance (formerly the wage equalization fund) was brought into being with the introduction of sick pay in 1969. The implementation of the pay-as-you-go system was entrusted to the Deutsche Rentenversicherung Knappschaft-Bahn-See (formerly Federal Knappschaft ). Since 2003, the contribution fund of the Deutsche Rentenversicherung Knappschaft-Bahn-See has also carried out the contribution procedure for all marginally employed persons. Associated with the introduction of the Expenditure Compensation Act is the name change from wage compensation fund to employer insurance.
