from Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

The labor service commemorative badge was donated on September 30, 1933 by the Anhalt State Ministry in three stages ( gold , silver and bronze ).

It could be awarded to people who had been part of the Anhalt State Male Labor Service for at least 20 weeks and who managed themselves well during this time, or who had played a key role in establishing the State Labor Service and thereby achieved special services for it.

The badge is in the form of a swastika on top . In the middle a medallion with the three letters AAD (Anhaltischer Arbeitsdienst). The middle A is set a little higher and is half above the first A and half of the D.

The commemorative symbol was worn as a cross on the left chest.

According to the law on titles, medals and decorations from 1957, the award may no longer be worn in any form.
