Working group of helping youth associations

The Working Group of helping youth organizations (H7) is an association of youth organizations of the civil protection active organizations. Members are the Arbeiter-Samariter-Jugend , the DLRG-Jugend , the German Youth Fire Brigade , the German Youth Red Cross , the Johanniter-Jugend , the Malteser Jugend and the THW-Jugend .

On February 21, 2014 the seven youth associations adopted common guiding principles:
The youth associations

  • Worker Samaritan Youth,
  • German Youth Fire Brigade,
  • DLRG youth,
  • German Youth Red Cross,
  • Johanniter Youth,
  • Maltese youth and
  • THW youth.

have come together in a working group to work together

  • to discuss, vote and jointly represent youth policy positions,
  • to ensure the representation of interests of the youth associations vis-à-vis politics and the public,
  • to advocate for the development of greater awareness of the members of the working group, their work and their offers,
  • To implement events for the public presentation of the working group,
  • to strengthen the cooperation of the association's child and youth work by networking offers of the youth associations at the respective levels,
  • to provide space for committed members and volunteers to get to know each other and to establish contacts,
  • Plan and conduct educational events,
  • To implement projects for the further development of child and youth work in the member associations,
  • to ensure regular exchange of information among members,
  • to work together in partnership in the knowledge of the different strengths and weaknesses of the member associations and to present all members in the agreed measures and
  • to actively support the respective decisions of the working group on the basis of trusting and committed cooperation.
