The Labor Court Eisenach belonged until its dissolution in late 2013 to the last six first instance labor tribunals of Thuringia.

Seat and District of the Court

The court, newly established in 1993, had its seat in the justice building at Theaterplatz 5 in Eisenach and was locally responsible for legal disputes from the independent city of Eisenach, the Wartburg district and the Gotha district . The Eisenach Labor Court was dissolved with effect from January 1, 2014 through the Thuringian Household Supplementary Act 2012. The local jurisdiction of the independent city of Eisenach and the Wartburg district is now the Labor Court Suhl assigned, the Suhl at the previous court sitting in the building of on the basis of the Thuringian Ordinance on the holding of court days of the Labor Court of November 20, 2013 District Court Eisenach performs court days and a Maintains legal petition office to support citizens in filing complaints. From January 1, 2014, the Erfurt Labor Court will be responsible for legal disputes from the Gotha district .
