Working group for economic and social history of Schleswig-Holstein

The Working Group for Economic and Social History of Schleswig-Holstein is an association of interested historians, folklorists, geographers and representatives of other subjects, founded in 1978.

Organization and activities

The aim of the working group is to revive the country's history, which had frozen in the 1970s, through new questions. To this end, he regularly organizes conferences on current historical topics and publishes their results in anthologies. The working group is led by a collegial management committee. His speakers were Ingwer E. Momsen (1978–1986), Wolfgang Kopitzsch (1986–1987), Ulrich Lange (1987–1989), Klaus-Joachim Lorenzen-Schmidt (1989–2013) and Detlev Kraack (since 2013).

The working group publishes the "Circular of the Working Group on the Economic and Social History of Schleswig-Holstein" ISSN  2363-9784 as well as various series of publications up to three times a year :
