The Archaeological Museum Córdoba ( Spanish : Museo Arqueológico de Córdoba ) shows archaeological finds from the Iberian, Roman and Arab times from Córdoba and the region. It is currently located in a new building next to the original museum in the 16th century palace Palacio de los Páez de Castellejo on Pl. Jerónimo Páez, a quiet old town square, where the remains of a Roman theater have also been found. These are accessible in the basement of the new building. The inner courtyard of the old building is also open to the public during the museum's opening hours and mainly shows antique mosaics and other large antique exhibits.
