Friedrich Heckermann

Friedrich Heckermann (born January 6, 1891 in Hüsede , † 1959 ) is a German Righteous Among the Nations . He was awarded posthumously in Jerusalem in 2019 for the rescue of Jews during the Nazi regime .

Life

Heckermann was married to Danuta Heckermann (née Roland) in their second marriage , who was also named Righteous Among the Nations. The daughter Adela Roland arose from the premarital relationship , who is also listed in the list of the Righteous Among the Nations of Yad Vashem under the number 13,400 like her parents.
